Description

BITEEREX AQUA is a low-viscosity, emulsion-based, ready-to-use release agent for asphalt and bitumen.
Thanks to its good release effect the product is suitable both for melted as well as for hot asphalt.

Field of application

Asphalt mixing plants, asphalt recycling plants, road finishing machines, rubber-tire rollers, and other equipment.

Application

BITEEREX AQUA is applied thinly and uniformly with a brush or suitable spraying device (with Unijet nozzle SS 800067). Also suitable for spraying equipment. Oil should be removed from conveying belts of rubber elastomers prior to the application of BITEEREX AQUA. Consumption ranges between 40 and 60 m²/l. BITEEREX AQUA must not be diluted with water, oils or solvents – it is ready for use!

Release agent tanks must be emptied completely and, if necessary, flushed with BITEEREX AQUA to prevent clogging of the nozzles.

Note

- The storage period should not exceed 6 months
- Store barrels horizontally
- Re-seal container after use
- Preliminary trials required
- Before use, check whether the criteria in the operating instructions for the system/device are met

If tires have been treated with diesel or fuel oil, a changeover to BITEEREX AQUA is no longer possible.

The product may not contact zinc or galvanised materials.
