  • low susceptibility to foaming
  • excellent low temperature properties
  • very good corrosion protection
  • increased temperature range compared to mineral oils

Description

GEARMASTER ECO oils are eco-friendly gear and hydraulic oils based on synthetic esters with a wide range of applications. GEARMASTER ECO oils offer an extraordinary protection from seizures and micropitting. They reduce friction and wear and optimize the starting behavior of gearboxes in the long term, especially at low temperatures, simultaneously increasing the gear's efficiency.

Field of application

GEARMASTER ECO oils are used at operating temperatures up to 90°C in spur, bevel, planetary and worm gears. They have been proved and tested especially in equipment in protected water zones and drives, where ground and surface water are endangered in the event of a leakage. The low-viscosity grades may also be used as hydraulic oils.

Method of application

GEARMASTER ECO oils have excellent cleaning properties in gears with deposits and sludge and prevent a re-contamination. GEARMASTER ECO oils are very well compatible with seals and varnish, nevertheless we recommend a compatibility verification.

Note

GEARMASTER ECO oils surpass the specifications laid down in DIN 51 517, part 3, and the minimum requirements as per VDMA guideline 24568. Tightened FZG test A/8.3/120, damage stage >12. Approvals of well-known gear manufacturers, e.g. Flender AG, are available.
