Description
GLEITMO RLC 4000 is a thermosetting polysiloxane Solid Film Lubricant based on water. GLEITMO RLC 4000 produces a dry surface with an excellent sliding effect and high resistance to abrasion.
Field of application
GLEITMO RLC 4000 is preferably used for a dry lubrication of elastomers. GLEITMO RLC 4000 allows very low friction coefficients, thus facilitating the assembly of components.
Method of application
GLEITMO RLC 4000 can be processed using compressed-air or airless spraying equipment
If O-rings are to be coated, the use of coating drums is recommended. In case of large quantities of small parts dipping or dip-spinning are suitable processes. Thoroughly degrease the sliding surfaces to be coated and let them dry before applying the coating. If plastic or elastomer components are to be coated, the coating adhesion can be enhanced by a plasma treatment.
Note
Stir before use! Protect from frost!
Storage period: 18 months in closed original containers at ambient temperature.
