FUCHS PETROLUB: Third quarter sales revenues and earnings significantly above expectations


In a favorable economic environment, the FUCHS PETROLUB Group recorded the highest quarterly sales revenues in its history in the third quarter of 2010. In terms of earnings, the company was able to seamlessly continue the positive development of the previous quarters. The preliminary sales revenue and earning figures are above expectations of financial analysts.
 
During the first nine months, sales revenues of EUR 1,083.5 million (873.2) and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of EUR 190.8 million (122.7) were achieved. Profit after tax is EUR 132.7 million (81.8). All of the aforementioned figures are preliminary.
 
For the year 2010 as a whole the company expects sales revenues of around EUR 1.4 billion and EBIT of approximately EUR 240 million.
 
The complete interim report for the first nine months of 2010 will be published as planned on November 3, 2010.
