FUCHS acquires the industrial lubricants business of MS Fluid Technologies in the USA

FUCHS PETROLUB AG in Mannheim, a globally operating lubricants supplier, acquired the industrial lubricants business of MS Fluid Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis/USA via its United States subsidiary FUCHS LUBRICANTS CO. effective October 1, 2008. 
For over forty years MS Fluid Technologies has been a leading provider of high tech synthetic lubricants and cleaners to the metal working industry. This acquisition by FUCHS complements its existing line of forming lubricants and process cleaners. It strengthens the FUCHS Groups' position in metalforming both in the US and international markets.
The industrial lubricants business of MS Fluid Technologies currently generates annual sales of USD 11 million. 
In 2007 FUCHS LUBRICANTS CO. generated sales of USD 204 million. The FUCHS PETROLUB Group generated sales of EUR 1.4 billion and a profit after tax of EUR 120 million in 2007. This was the sixth successive year of record profits. FUCHS currently employs almost 3,900 people worldwide.
