FUCHS: Best quarterly EBIT ever
In the second quarter of 2006 the FUCHS PETROLUB Group generated the highest quarterly EBIT ever. The group increased its half year earnings after taxes by 41.8 % to EUR 44.1 mn (31.1). The increase in the cost of raw materials and other expenses was more than compensated for by the growth in sales revenues of 16.7 % to EUR 671.8 mn (575.7). The earnings per ordinary and preference share amounted to EUR 1.67 (1.16) and EUR 1.70 (1.19) respectively.
