FUCHS PETROLUB AG of Mannheim/Germany sold its polishing division
LIPPERT-UNIPOL to JASON GmbH. JASON GmbH located in
Sulzbach-Rosenberg/Germany manufactures and markets technical brushes
and tools for surface treatment and is a wholly owned subsidiary of
the globally active JASON INCORPORATED headquartered in
Milwaukee/USA.

With 3,000 employees JASON INCORPORATED generated sales revenues of
around 550 million US$ in 2005.


The LIPPERT-UNIPOL group headquartered in Epfenbach/Germany employs 208 employees and generated sales of 22 million € in 2005. The purchase price was 12 million € on a debt free/cash free basis.

The FUCHS PETROLUB group is the largest independent manufacturer and marketer of lubricants in the world. In 2005 the group generated sales of 1,2 billion € with 4.137 employees. Following the divestment of the polishing division, FUCHS is completely focused on lubricants and related specialties.
